A painting exists on every blank canvas waiting to be revealed. My joy is to play with color - pouring, splattering, brushing, lifting - until it appears. Intuition is a vital element in my work. It guides my choice of composition and color and defines when a painting is complete. The need to manifest a material form to hold my inner feelings and intuitions fuels my creative fire and urges me to constantly experiment.
